R3 Roofing & Exteriors
It’s often said that actions speak louder than words, and in the world of contracting, a name change can scream problems. When you notice a contractor rebranding every couple of years, it raises a significant red flag. It suggests an underlying pattern, a history of unfulfilled promises, shoddy workmanship, or dissatisfied clients.
Consider how a name change can serve as a way to dodge the consequences of past mistakes. Contractors who find themselves frequently altering their company’s identity are trying to escape negative reviews, a tarnished reputation, or financial instability. Potential clients might think they’re getting a fresh start with a new name, but all there getting is the same contractor, and stepping into the same cycle of disappointment.
Moreover, trust is a fundamental element of any service-based industry, and a contractor who changes names like clockwork betrays a lack of accountability. Instead of investing in improving their practices, they seem more focused on concealing their previous failures. This casts doubt on their professionalism and dedication to quality.
So, next time you encounter a contractor with a history of frequent name changes, remember that it’s not just about the surface. Dig deeper, check for reviews, and ask around. It’s worth ensuring your investment is in skilled hands rather than someone trying to hide their past. After all, peace of mind comes from knowing that the people you hire are committed to excellence—no matter what name they go by.

They came by unsolicited and wouldn't take no for an answer. Had to say no and ask about 8 times for them to leave. The employee then proceeded to hurl insults and talk trash about my home in front of my kids. If this is the way they act when they are door knocking, just imagine if you had an issue with the work or quote. I strongly do not recommend.
I am a contractor who has a client in Coal Valley, IL. Myself and Travelers Insurance inspected the house roof and found zero damage. R3 came after our inspection. The sales guy Maximalino Rocha caused damage to the roof and chalked it up where he created damages on purpose to get the job.
Travelers insurance has photographs of no damage on the slopes of the roof. R3 Roofing & Exteriors company is something to BEWARE of! Don’t let them on your roof!

Over a dozen instances where roofs installed by R3 Roofing & Exteriors have not met the expected standards. Unfortunately, many of these roofs have developed leaks shortly after completion, which is not only concerning but also poses potential risks for property damage and increased maintenance costs. Constant name changes every couple of years, Adviser1 recommends seeking another contractor for your roofing needs.
R3 Construction Reviews
Absolutely awful experience. From the get go i had to correct them on my inaccurate address and info and they still sent crews to the wrong house and had to call me. They were late to respond, sometimes close to a week. Sam told us they would work within our insurance payout then somehow we owed thousands of dollars of unexpected charges that were never approved and they expected it paid out of pocket. They harassed me at work until I had to find a lawyer. They didn't finish all the work on the contract but when questioning the cost would tell me to refer to the contract. When frustrated and discussing the extra charges, Drew laughed at me several times even after I told him it wasn't comical to me. They're the best at promising and not following through with what they say. Do not get scammed like I did. Never had more issues with one company and then have them charge me extra. They even had to patch a mistake of their's and tried putting mismatch siding on hoping I wouldn't know the difference. Overall awful. The people who actually did the roof were amazing everyone else is just out to screw over the customer.
