Chamber of Commerce
Extremely Misleading Directory
My company was listed on ChamberofCommerce without my permission, including incorrect business details that could mislead customers. When I requested removal, they changed the information multiple times rather than removing it. At one point they even displayed a completely fake address while still using my business name and ratings.
This looks less like a “business directory” and more like a website scraping data to generate pages for advertising clicks. The customer support responses were slow and offered no real solution. Instead of professionally removing the listing as requested, they kept modifying it in ways that made things worse.
No serious, reputable business platform would operate like this.
If you’re a business owner, check whether they’ve listed you without permission—you may not like what you find.
Based on my experience, this site does not operate at the level of transparency or professionalism that real businesses expect.
Scam!
They tell you they’re going to get you at the top of searches in your area. They don’t. And then they auto renew you without your consent. Calling my bank to report.

Beware: ChamberOfCommerce.com Engages in Deceptive and Unauthorized Business Listings
ChamberOfCommerce.com scrapes business information without consent and posts unauthorized listings that often include misleading or fake reviews.
They refuse to remove these listings even when requested, claiming they only take content down if the original source removes it first — which is impractical and unjust. Additionally, they aggressively push a paid service called "Review Defender" to businesses to help "manage" the negative reviews that they themselves have allowed to appear.
This is a deceptive, exploitative practice targeting small businesses. This is not a genuine third-party business directory committed to accuracy or fairness. Instead, it profits from unauthorized use of business identities and misleads consumers
