I hired Apple Roofing to install a new roof on my home. The first indication of poor workmanship appeared when I noticed nails visibly protruding from the overhangs of my roof. Within just a few months, during a rainstorm, I experienced significant water intrusion into both of my bathrooms through the newly installed skylights completed by Apple Roofing. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the installers failed to reconnect the condensation hose to my rooftop A/C unit. This negligence led to water damage to my one bathroom wood vinyl flooring. Shortly afterward, a heavier rainstorm caused additional water damage, this time to the ceilings of both my guest and master bedrooms. Despite repeated service calls, it took two visits and additional damage to the ceiling before Apple Roofing ultimately identified and fixed the roof leak. I was assured these issues would be resolved by Apple Roofing, yet after eight months of ongoing calls and follow-ups with no resolution or compensation for the damage, I was left with no choice but to pursue legal action. After months of preparing and filing court documents and incurring further expenses, the court ruled in my favor and issued a judgment. That judgment was granted four months ago, yet Apple Roofing has failed to remit payment despite being contacted and provided with all supporting legal documentation. I am now in the unfortunate position of having to take further legal steps, including placing liens on their property, in an attempt to recover the damages awarded. This situation has caused me significant stress, financial burden, and loss of time. I'm submitting this complaint in hopes of not only resolving the matter, but also to warn other homeowners to exercise caution when considering Apple Roofing. Based on my experience, I believe their handling of this situation has been unprofessional and dismissive of their responsibilities

Apple Roofing, a Texas-based residential and commercial contractor, has faced various legal and regulatory issues, including an OSHA settlement in 2011 for safety violations and recent customer complaints on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) alleging poor workmanship, and property damage, and unresponsiveness.
